From Communication to Independent Learning
The implementation of interdisciplinary learning in F.2 involves subjects such as Chinese language, Chinese literature, mathematics, science, Chinese history, history and geography, home economics, computer studies, music, and visual arts. The project revolves around a central theme, namely the "Song Dynasty". During the teaching process, teachers step back and allow students to take on a more active role in their learning. Through the organization of a large-scale exhibition after assessments, students are given the opportunity to plan their learning progress. Additionally, classroom redesign, caring initiatives, and fostering self-study habits are employed to create a campus atmosphere that fosters mutual appreciation and enhances students' interest in learning.
