Meet Lantau

By bringing F.4 students into the community, elements such as oral history, ecological research, and community service are integrated into the General Studies curriculum. This integration enhances students' understanding of the community and their ability to systematically organize relevant information. Students are encouraged to express their findings and reflections through various forms such as writing or artistic expression, with no limitations on subject matter or format. The school also provides comprehensive training for teachers in charge, including visits to schools outside the area that promote students' embrace of local history and culture, fostering a love for natural ecology, and active participation in community life. This training enables teachers to acquire the necessary knowledge, attitudes, and skills to assist students effectively.
