21st Century Career Planning

Career planning elements and activities are incorporated into the values education curriculum. Students begin by taking a career aptitude test to gain self-awareness. They watch inspiring videos and listen to teachers' sharing to stimulate their thinking about the future. Students are then given the opportunity to participate in activities such as the Human Library or internships related to their personal interests. They may also seek job-shadowing opportunities to gain firsthand experience for gaining early insights into whether their interested industries are suitable for them and to understand the requirements and skills needed for those industries.
