School, Community and Me

The project can be divided into four stages:

• Stage 1: connect to themselves and other group members. Students will form small groups of 3 – 4. They will be invited to share one thing that they are really good at to the group and co-create a small board display together.
• Stage 2: search their own area of interest. students will explore the school and the community based on their own interest.
• Stage 3: a record of the school/ community from the members’ own perspective. Students will be free to select a means that they are keen on or new skills that they would like to acquire to express the impression of the school/ community from their perspective.
• Stage 4: Sharing of learning and growth. Students will keep on making records and then compile into their own growth portfolio. The final products will be displayed on the co-managed website and in the school for a showcase to parents and teachers.
