Enhancing student agency via four stages:
- Exploration: class-exploring sessions were offered to Primary 4 students and class teachers. They were invited to discuss their own classroom issues, and why, what and how they would like to promote physical changes in their classrooms.
- Expression: artistic expression workshops were organized for artistic expression.
- Co-creation: Students were invited to display their work in groups and decide why, what and how they want to do to tell others what they really think. The whole learning activity was led by an artist, and school teachers were required to act as learning facilitators, rather than didactic instructors who had all the answers.
- Exhibition: all the artworks were positioned in the corridors, everyone at school was able to come across with the masterpiece. It showcased how students’ voices were truly listened to and such a learning approach was workable.
