The school campus with nearly 20,000 square feet of farmland inspires teachers to develop a school-based interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum centered around rural life and utilizing General Studies as the main focus. For P.1 to P.6, two thematic units are established, each consisting of five lessons. The instructional content integrates knowledge related to nature, plants and animals, ecological conservation, mechanical principles, science and technology, astronomy, weather, and exploration of the night sky.<\/span><\/p>\n

The curriculum design emphasizes the incorporation of real-life content and the application of integrated knowledge to develop students' problem-solving, inquiry, and creative skills while cultivating proper values. The core team responsible for the STEAM curriculum starts by considering teachers' interests and expertise, while also incorporating input from external professionals. Furthermore, teachers utilize various facilities and activities within and beyond the curriculum to create an engaging campus environment and foster student-initiated learning during non-class hours.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
