Genius Hour

Inspired by Google's "Genius Hour" policy that allows employees to pursue their interests during work hours, Rachel has implemented a similar concept during the 2018-2019 academic year. Under this initiative, students are given dedicated time every week to explore their areas of interest. Some students with individual projects even receive technical or seed funding support. Additionally, for the F.5 students, a "Life Value Education" class is introduced where they experience the "Passion to Mission" project and engage with design thinking. The aim of this project is to inspire students to identify their passions and transform them into meaningful contributions to society. Teachers play the role of facilitators in the program, supporting and monitoring the progress of students' projects.
